Red's Burden
Red's Burden was a medal made of Demonium that was left in the remains of dead Corgathians in the catacombs of Traustendlat. The medal was a token of honour given to Baal by the Ultimate Evil after his faithful service in destroying Core. Baal wore it during the Demon Wars, but it was torn from his neck by Clypheus during the Battle of Kaldrefell, and buried within Traustendlat's depths in the aftermath.
The medal was rediscovered by Red during an investigation of Traustenladt[^1]. Red would abuse its power during his adventures, which caused his fears and regrets of his past to fester while also accelerating his heart disease. The medal also allowed Silvaar, Pitch, and the avatar of Baal to exert their will upon Red.
Eventually, the Archangel Michael would transmute the medal from demonium into a Trinitum heart during the The Battle of Nokkville.
